Only two osprey free months left in 2017. Then it all all starts again.

Please let the LG Two return safely. And the Dyfi Two, the Manton Bay Two, the LotL Two.......oh dear, I'm going on.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

It is rather sad to know that of the six osprey mentioned on RD's site, only one was seen last year - Red 8T. Rothie's tag is known to have failed, so perhaps he returned again, but there were no sightings of him in 2016, either in Africa or in the UK. I hope the photographers see Red 8T again this year.

LOL Hear, hear! With the increase in numbers of webcams, and the increase in numbers of osprey to follow.... are there ever enough hours in the day to be able to follow them all!

Green J Says "What about me?"
Woops! Of course, how could I have forgotten her! The truth is I think I get Beatrice and Green J muddled! However, I did note....
2016 Green J returned to a new nest and a new male, a three year old from Tweed Valley, Blue CL6(13) m. Reared two young
I wonder whether anyone has taken over her and Blue XD's old nest.
Sheila, I hope that Blue XD's nest is wide open for the taking this year so that all the fuss and argument is over that nest and not over EJ's and Odin's nest, should they (and we!) be so lucky that they return.
Kind regards, Ann

What did happen to Green J's old nest (A11) last year? I have just realised that I do not know about it.
No idea, Tiger, I'm not sure if that information was released or not. Presumably Roy or someone else knows.
I don't know, either, Tiger.
I'm not sure if this is the nest you are talking about, but it does give some info on Green J
