Lovely embellishment to Lindybird's poem, Scylla!  Hope you had a good Christmas and here's wishing you (and Everyone here, actually!) a very Happy, Healthy and bird-filled New Year!  Especially a year filled with Ospreys!

Well Done, Scylla!!  -- I really must learn to do posh links, as my New Year  Resolution!

1. Copy  URL from address bar   (i.e.www. bbc.co.uk)

   DON'T paste it anywhere yet.

2. Using RICH FORMATTING mode type your message including your link word ie 'HERE'( or whatever you want to name your link)

3. Highlight (Draw cursor across) the word   ' HERE'

4. Click on link icon to open link box.

5.NOW  Paste  URL into    'link url' box after clearing it first of the word 'HERE'

6. Make 'target' Open in new window.

7. Click INSERT..

Now to do a LINK to an exact message:):)

As above but instead of  Number 1. copying. the URL this time.

Right click on the message date and time you want to refer to.

Select copy link location and follow steps onwards.

How to do Quotes ( as Mike did a reply HERE)

"To do a quote you need to click on  REPLY (In the message you want to quote.)

Then 'Use rich formatting' link . 

Click Quote and the whole quote will appear in your message.

If you only want part of the message.

Highlight the text you want and click quote.

It will now appear in  your reply section.

You can  then  continue to post your own message
