Don't think my last post posted, so here it is again.
OK, well, Christmas dinner eaten and gifts given and received, so tomorrow we're going to relax and do Nothing!
Meanwhile, the very best wishes of the season to all the dear people on this thread, lurkers included.
EDIT; But now I see it did. Not sure it's me or the site that's not with it!
We had a nice, quiet Christmas Day. I surprised Limpy with a new bird feeder that he'd originally been planning to buy - he was quite happy to see it suddenly appear on our lawn. Dinner was yummy - classic pork bangers, mmmmmmmmmm! Limpy and Helen enjoyed a proper Christmas dinner with chicken, roasties, Yorkshire puds, peas and gravy - their plates were very clean afterwards! He's a really good cook.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
What? Christmas is over!
Oh no, I haven’t finished being Merry yet.
[Garfield cartoon today LOL]
We had a nice dinner too, eldest daughter cooked it here and just the four of us. Roast beef, as none of us are great fans of turkey. My other two daughters and families will join us for our usual Boxing Day meal, today. Cold cuts, salads chips and chutney etc. Being together seems even more important than ever, this year :-)
Heather - really sorry to read your sad news, but pleased to hear your family have been around for you.
To all other readers on this forum - hope you all had a good Christmas and have enough food left over to last until the New Year.
Thank you, Liz. We have lots of food, but are abandoning ship and going off to visit our family tomorrow, laden with presents and a boxful of fairy cakes with snowflakes on top!
Had friends around this morning, then ate turkey again for lunch, then made said cakes, then packed to go away.
Won't be online again until Thursday, so hope everyone has a pleasant time still enjoying themselves if possible and perhaps going to The Sales.
Hello all - Christmas come and gone already and soon a New Year will dawn.
Do hope that you all had a lovely Christmas although I know it must have been difficult for some after recent events. Look forward to 2017 and all that holds - about another 4 months before EJ is back!
Had a quiet Christmas with just the 3 of us. Went out for a meal at lunchtime. Going off to the sales with dau. tomorrow.
Take care all.

Steady rain here, 28 C with high humidity so washing hanging soggily in garage. Waterfalls on Uluru (Ayers Rock) as heavy rain falls in Red Centre. Public holiday today 27th – for SA’s Proclamation Day which is actually on 28th Dec. You figure.
Good morning, all. It's going to be a cold, clear day in Suffolk - with Limpy at Minsmere and Helen overnighting with her friends I can feel a trip to RSPB Lakenheath Fen coming on. Woo Hoo!
Have a great day Clare. MtB
