I'm so pleased I do my shopping online. No overspending, ha, ha, but most importantly, not having to trail round a supermarket. Having said that - forgotten a host of things for this weeks shop so dau. is finishing it off for me tomorrow. That's life.
Heather - will be thinking about you as you give thanks for Bill's life. Nice that your grand-daughter has turned up to decorate the tree.
Made the mince pies today but by Saturday I reckon we will have eaten them all. Getting dau to get some more mincemeat, brandy, and pastry so I can make some more.

Heather: Will be thinking of you and the family Friday. I agree it's fortunate that you were able to organize the funeral so soon. Will the family be at your house for Christmas? Hugs to you all.
I'm also tired today; it's been a hectic. Hope everyone has a reasonable Thursday.
Good Morning. Cold & dark here, frost on the ground.
Here is someone to cheer us:
Thanks for info on muffins. I think the birds will get them for Christmas.
HEATHER pleased your OHs funeral is tomorrow, as is a near neighbour who died last Thurs. He has been in the hospice recently. He was 95, a very good age. I will not be going to the crematorium as it clashes with the plumber coming round to install the new shower. If I were to delay it, I am sure we would be looking at the new year. Will be thinking of you HEATHER and your family.
Just caught up with Heather's very sad news. Clare and I are thinking about you, Heather, and your family.

Off out shortly, to the Golf Club dinner. We are having a turkey dinner although there was an alternative offered, of salmon.
Just spent ages doing my nails, as they were not a good sight to behold. I hate having to fiddle with them, as if you do the manicure too soon, you only chip them and if you leave it to the last minute, you often get two fingers stuck together!
I am always in a hurry when I do my nails, so end up with sticky fingers!!!! Hope you have a great evening.
OH picked up a new Rav 4 today. The garage gave me a lovely bouquet which was nice of them.
Thank you Alan and the same to you and yours.
Birdies LG DU update.
I will take this opportunity to wish you ALL a a Very Happy Christmas.
I don't feel I want to put a Christmas card on here until after tomorrow and I won't be able to do that.
Thinking and praying for Heather.
