HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Everyone have a great week!
WENDY Sorry to hear your news. Hope the surgery goes ok on Saturday.
I'm watching the cricket Brenda. Much better than the miserable news.
Kind regards
Jenny
BBC news flash on my iPhone. There have been fatalities at the tram crash and still two people trapped.
Going out for lunch. The rain is now lighter.
Son and his wife have gone to stay with her sister for a few days. Her Dad will be joining them there. I am sure our daughter must be glad to be having her home back for a while, although she hasn't said anything. Son has taken daughter's car though.
Anyone got a room they can rent for four years? Oh wait, BiL has just e-mailed saying we're welcome there. :-) but really :-(( A revolting state of affairs. I was getting really worried last night when CNN kept saying that Hillary's results in one location after another weren't matching Obama's and that Trump was out-performing Mitt Romney (Rep candidate in 2012). And the Republicans also have control of both houses of Congress.... which means they must really deliver all those jobs and better lives to the masses of voters who haven't voted in years and are looking for a savior. Where's my passport.....
BRENDA It is great that the whole family is helping out.
dreadful news about the tram crash in Croydon.
ANNETTE- I just read that Canada's immigration website has crashed :-)
Wonder why?
Yes, DIBNLIB! I wonder why.... Maybe unconnected though.
Agree about the tram incident, awful. See the driver has been arrested.
BRENDA- hope you enjoyed your lunch outing.
Some good news on this awful day.
This is Miriam Isobel, our first great grandchild. We got the bedtime phone call last evening - she was born at 3:45 yesterday afternoon, by C section; mother and baby doing well.
We have even made a date to see her: when we have a weekend halfway there (in Dunfermline) at the end of the month, we shall take an extra day to go further north. Only about three weeks to wait!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
