HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Everyone have a great week!
Not surprised that your OH is not happy, BRENDA. I read in our local paper the other day that there is a 72 week waiting list here for routine urology appointments. Unbelievable.
Also thinking of MARGO, as ever x
Heather - so glad you have been able to get your OH in to Doctor this week. Scary how quickly he is deteriorating. I hope something positive can be done.
Happy to hear that OG is getting better and Margo will be having her transfusion.
I too, hope Hillary is elected. It doesn't bear thinking about if Trump gets in. The country will survive but it will be a mess for the next 4 years.
GP was fantastic. She hadn't had any correspondence from the hospital, either, so she told us to go home and she would deal with it. By lunchtime she had had all results emailed to her. Told them that she wanted a written apology to be sent to my OH and herself immediately. Anyhow OH's tests were all clear and now has new medication. Just hope it works now :-))
I hope the snow is not bad for those of you in the warning area.
Brenda: Oh, that's brilliant! I bet you could have kissed her! What good news that his tests are clear, and he can start new meds right away. Fingers crossed!
Thank you, Linda. You are quite right. She found out that the letters were written, but had never been sent. OH has always thought very highly of her.
BRENDA- what a star your GP is! So happy for you both that things have turned out so well.
BRENDA glad the results were clear and hope the new meds do the trick.
A friend of mine who has a very close friend who lives in the states was telling me here friend told her that she hates Donald Trump ....but hates Hillary Clinton even more. I think the election will be won on who people dislike the least.
HEATHER hope you get some satisfaction from your phone consultation.
LINDY my turn for a tummy upset. Yesterday I had planned for a swim and coffee with a friend, but had to cancel the swim and went to meet my friend feeling particularly grim. I was in bed by 4pm. Loads better today but think I will give tomorrows swim a miss as well. We are off to Eden Court tomorrow evening to see "The Simon and Garfunkel Story" so need to be ok for that. It doesn't start till 2000 so will mean a very late night for me. I would far rather do early mornings than late nights.
"Masterchef" on in 5 mins so must go.
Lurker here but have been keeping up with everyone's family and health posts.
Winter is here and we have snow on the tops so woodburner is cheering Daisy up no end.
Read about health problems and waiting times and I have been in that situation.
So amazed at a call from hospital to invite me for an odoscopy before minor surgery this Saturday... intake of breath yes a Saturday.
Sad few weeks as a dear friend past away after 8 years of being the bravest lady I have ever met.
Feel sorry for the Americans as the choice is him or her but her is really a face for her husband.
