Hi folks, It was a fantastic day yesterday, despite the wind. There was a fledginging of the eldest chick and confirmed by the LG team.
Lots of wing exercising by all three, I think 4 fish were delivered, and intruder alets at times. In all, a normal day .
All quiet on the nest, the usual fidgiting going on.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

had to have a chuckle at your 'double rats' DJoan
Off topic, sorry - but I just 'saw' second chick at LoTL ''fledge'' again
Good morning all and thanks to the night shift and all bloggers for the wonderful pics. Have only just logged in as I had to go out. Reading through the posts it appears no fish delivery yet and only 2 youngsters on tne nest. Ej was there but has gone now perhaps to catch a late breakfast. When I first logged in EJ was in angry mode again because of an intruder. Good to know the eldest is enjoying his flying and amusing that the other 2 are watching and wondering what on earth is going on.
Off to catch up with last of dailty chat for yesterday, LOtL and Weekly chat, have a good day all.

Cirrus: I had been tinkering with some image software, unsuccessfully, then I thought of Word, forgetting that mine is Office 2010, but not all is lost, you should be able to read an earlier Word version, here goes.....

All quiet on the nest ... #1 on the post ... I can hear him clattering, and the others keep looking up. I think I can hear EJ calling in the background.

Or Rich Text format?
Hi jsb - both the last 2 links work for me, but the original one didn't, like Cirrus! Thanks ... makes interesting reading and great to file away for future reference!
Ah YES jsb 7433.new chick stats 120710 word 97-2003.doc worked for me so hopefully for DJoan as well.
VERY many thanks for all your hard work on the stats.
DjoanS and Cirrus: The last problem I have is to stop the bottom of the chart, being chopped off.
Also I may seek the assistance of others with this idea?
That is to include screen capture images of the chicks individually, to highlight any visible differences for future reference/identification, a tall order, by any measure, but I cannot think of a better substitute to ringing.
I feel a new thread coming on! "Chicks 1,2 and 3. - photo ID's, markings, required please."
