Hi folks, It was a fantastic day yesterday, despite the wind. There was a fledginging of the eldest chick and confirmed by the LG team.
Lots of wing exercising by all three, I think 4 fish were delivered, and intruder alets at times. In all, a normal day .
All quiet on the nest, the usual fidgiting going on.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

Back on the post, "where are my steps?"
Terry in Cumbria
At the rapid rate the eldest is developing he will be fishing in two weeks
Just for comparison I think Rothes fledged July 15th . Someone correct me if I am wrong

It looks like #1 has got bored and is off again. One sitting down is shouting whilst the one at the back of the nest is preening.
Must have left the post because he's back on it now.
#1 came into land on cam post and the other two ducked and watched it, now it has taken off again.

Hello everyone – many thanks for all your posts - it’s been a good read this morning.
Lovely domestic scenes in your pics today Lindy.
A great shot of one coming in to land Lynette!
Oh, DJoan – you did do well with that most unusual shot of the wing over the camera :) and I enjoyed Eldest coming in for a landing as well
Girls, you’ve all done so well with the pics this morning – thank you.
Breakfast is very late today. I wonder if EJ was enjoying the entertainment too much to leave to go fishing. And Odin is really slacking off .
one of them (titch?!) is hollering "feed me!!"
Morning all, just read this post from Cosworthlady on the main blog:
'Number 2 chick has just had a textbook take off and landing at lotl.'
Well done to them, come on LG, time to catch up :o)
A hah! so no breakfast eh ... (BarbaraJean) do you reckon EJ and Odin are trying to encourage the family off the nest to do their own fishing?
I've been looking through my info of last years girls but cannot find the date when Rothes fledged. Did anyone make a note of it please?
