HAPPY NEW WEEK! HAPPY NEW MONTH ON THURSDAY! HAPPY NEW MOON ON THURSDAY, TOO!Just to cheer everyone: Here are some cute wild raccoons ("trash pandas") that were playing at the Nature Center at the Turkey Run State Park just down the road from me. There are several pics. Everyone have a wonderful week!
AQ; Good luck. I was at a City Council meeting a few weeks back protesting cuts to Monday library hours (a short-term success but expect more aggro to come).
Hope the tsunami in NZ doesn't come to anything - apparently the explosion was 34 miles under the sea. I can't imagine 34 miles in a north/south direction. Hopefully the weight of water will weaken any shocks from that depth.

AQ!!! I never figured you for being one of those hippie radical protesters! LOL!!!
Seriously, give 'em heck. I hate it when they close libraries or axe their funding here.
Heather: I hope your extended family will be okay in New Zealand.
Annette: To answer your question: I ran the SpaceX video in slow motion, but it didn't really provide any more information. I hope you haven't had any more earthquakes today.
(Pssst...Did you know that AQ is a hippie radical protester?)
Diane: I figure you'd be giving the SpaceX video the eagle-eye. Not surprised about AQ's subversive tendencies. You know what they say: Question Authority. :-)
Annette: I've always questioned authority, even when it got me in big trouble. LOLLindy: You might like to see this slideshow of glass garden art. I saw it and thought of you. After you click through the slideshow, you can scroll down to see more garden installations. I like the hare and the bell.
Diane: A good job we never worked together or it would've been double trouble at staff meetings. Checked out the Chihuly garden art - I think I prefer his interior work (lamps, vases, etc.) I think there's a big museum with his work in Seattle. Anyway, off to bed; big exciting day doing grocery shopping tomorrow. :-)
Take care everyone.
Diane - Thanks for the link to the Eclipse and the Rocket Explosion, both were astounding!
Talking of garden sculptures, I follow the North American Bear Centre and read their reports every day, so I was amused to see these Sculptures in our local garden centre, needless to say I didn't buy them, not sure what the neighbours would think ha ha..... By the way I liked the Hare & Bell sculpture too, unusual.
I just noticed a Tiger peeking in there too :-)

The Hare on Bell one is lovely.
Mary - Best representations of bears I've seen in a long time. Wouldn't mind having that Giant Tortoise in my garden! - he looks like he's just come from Galapagos!
Off today so must go & get dressed.......
Take care, Everyone - I shall be offline until Sunday night.....
