Well folks, its been a disappointing day in the fact that the three bairns will not be named, tagged or ringed but that has come from official lines as I hope all of you have seen and we have to acknowledge the expertise of the powers that be.Nevertheless, there has been a lot of wing exercising and mini flights on the nest during the course of the day. Not many fish were delivered, but hey, they have to get trim so they can fledge properly.
Paul, you will see that I have replied to you on the last of the posts for yesterday.
All at peace and sleeping with the odd plink plonk of what sounds like rain.!!!!!!!
Happy viewing and see you in the morning, night, night.

Don't think that counts officially, Cirrus, as the post is really part of the nest tree....
intended to be watching this afternoon, but others things going on and looks like i missed the fledge? D we know for sure yet certainly sounds like he was off for a while.
Who's going to phone and ask lol.

Am \i the only one to have a new condition called osprey neck? Oh says I am spending too much time at the computer---
I keep thinking I'm hearing another bird nearby.
Thanks for all the great pics, Guys!
A bit crowded on the nest now - EJ is the one on the right!
now who's going to be the next one to fly!!!!!!!!
"Osprey Neck" - oh, yes I've got that too - I'm so short sighted I can only see well by staring at the screen and leaning inwards, without glasses on! After a while your neck goes click!
I've just lookied at Alisons clips on youtube. the second one, shows it dropping back into the nest from the camera. Don't think they'll count it as a fledge. Her fist clip shows the take off and the reaction and looks of the two siblings is really funny.
Heather B and Lindybird yes I have osprey neck too. In my case because of poor vision I have to lean forward all the time with nose quite close to the screen. When I try to stand up I have to unfurl myself to get in a straight back position again.
