Hope it's a good/better week for everyone.
Good that the quest for the M.O.B. outfit is going well, Brenda. It's a difficult time of year to predict the weather!
Heather, well done with the sorting. This is a great opportunity to get rid of things you can do without. I tend to keep thing 'just in case', but find that I can quite easily manage without them, and the space is good.
Send OH with a box of chocs into the next room!
LOL Rosy!
Already done it, ROSY! I love him dearly but he is about as much use as a chocolate teapot when it comes to getting rid of things.
Also, how many ramekins does one household need?
I've just made Cornish pasties. Son and family have just arrived in Mevagissey for their holiday. They sent pictures which made me feel quite nostalgic. Anyway, a home made pasty goes some way towards compensating.
I did laugh at Rosy's suggestion for Heather's husband, but if he ate as much chocolate as we say, I am sure Heather would be reminding him about his 'diet'. LOL
I spoke to Margo this morning. She and her OH have been enjoying day trips in the car and having meals out.. She is feeling good and is having her pacemaker checked on Monday.
Thank you Brenda. I was hoping we'd hear soon and your news is the best we could wish for.
Birdies LG DU update.
I'll be back later to start the new thread.
Thanks, Annette.
And thanks to Brenda, too, for the news of Margo. So pleased that she's been getting out and about.
Hi all, just skimmed through all your news. Always interesting.
Not much to say myself except to wish you all a lovely weekend.
