Considering I have been reduced to lurking by my faltering computer, the least I can do is start a new thread. :-/
Yesterday EJ demonstrated her legendary fishing prowess by providing two whales, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, supplemented by a half-fish from Odin. BNN posted a link to a fabulous photo by Andy Howard of EJ on her final approach towards her prey. click to enlarge
Can you imagine being the fish on the other end of that stare?!!
Sheila mentioned that the nest environs have that autumnal feel --- fitting since Monday was the cross-quarter between solstice and equinox, in the olden days considered the beginning of the season, or first day of harvest. Let's feast our eyes on the family before EJ is the first to depart later this month.

Oh thank goodness, EJ is here with the fish.
IMAGICAT
EJ left, the juvie (whom I haven't studied yet, doing other things... EDIT - Willow) is standing over the fish quietly with his back to us...
Empty nest apart from fish.
EDIT
EJ brings back fish, Willow spends time with it, leaves it on the nest eventually - I think he tested it out and decided it was too heavy to fly with. Both EJ's and Willow's fly-offs are edited in from VLC.
Waiting (im)patiently:
Here's fish at last:
Weighing the fish:
Sod that for a game o' soldiers!
I see ya MIKE :-*
Either it's EJ repeatedly pipe-chirping or one of the juvies sounding like her... or it's Odin, indeed :-/ No-one to be seen.
Odin's back on the nest, perched firmly on the fish, left with it.
EDIT:
There's been lots of juvie shouting but it's quiet right now.
What started out as a fairly clear morning has been misted over:
Good morning, PATILY, when you arrive - I'm going to have a lie-down.
I have forgotten what MARY is doing, I miss her.
Hi SCYLLA Have a good rest
Good morning everyone.
I've just signed in so I don't know who it is and where the fish comes from, but there's a juvie on nest with a huge fish.
