Unknown said: Mike a very good blog indeed and yes probably needed. However the conversation of intervention started due to the poster Gail's comments. I then see she has posted in the latest blog that she has been talking with experts about antibiotic laced fish being left. It is somewhat, in my reading, at odds with the main blog. Are Glaslyn and Gail related and why the slightly conflicted proposed tactics.

Lmac. I have not seen the entry you refer to and know nothing of the lady concerned I'm afraid. I do know that the question of intervention or otherwise has been under review from day one and no prompting was required. It was also a judgement call as to when and what to post.
I'm not sure how you would get 'laced' fish to the nest anyway!?
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks Mike I get the impression she is a volunteer/staff as she seems to have been making most of the fb updates available
I support whatever they do at Glaslyn, Dyfi did the right thing and I am sure Glaslyn will also.
Wonderful that Aran is feeding even if a few bites - a Garfish is difficult for even the most adept osprey
Mrs G arrives to intervene and Aran re gives to W7 with mother looking on and now W8 arrives.
Thank you Lmac. I have now found and read the post you referred to.
Mrs G flies off and W7 tantruming turns back, W8 then sidles up and Aran feeds HIM !!!!
W8 takes fish
W8 now flown not a bad effort into that fish just a short bit left
W7 now back and has the fish. Calling all the time.
