Nearly daycam time!
I had trouble posting so I gave up and went away... and how time flies when you're trying to sort out you-know-what (tech).
IMAGICAT
Quiet, osprey-wise, but windy-ish... well, it sounds windier than it looks :-/
DAYCAM 0450hr:
Juvie in action, from first peep to loud squawks, on the nest in seconds. Flown with huge clump, calling ;-)
Flying around crying out joyfully, back on the nest.
Both on nest really animated.
Going their separate ways ;-)
A minute before this snap Willow morphed into view:
(Media box won't populate.)
ODIN with FISH and Willow has it !!!!!!!!!!
After waiting all that time, during which he and Bro called to each other.
Mystifying !!! I'm getting the sound of distant juvies shouting - but they're both on the nest !!!
Sorry I'm so slow, having lots of troubles.
A very fine fish from Odin:
Rowan arrived as Odin was taking off:
I tagged some crackling noises on the end, to show that Willow is managing to get started on the hard end of the fish - not sure how well they've come thru.
Willow has made amazing progress, considering his difficulty with managing his own fish up to now:
5-10 minutes later:
Rowan has been shouting protests all along and did fly off but is back, waiting patiently.
This is an example of the distant juvies when they are on the nest - it's going on repeatedly:
