Yesterday brought 4 large fish, 2 from each parent, so lots of nest activity. Both EJ and Odin are seen tidying up the nest now, rather like starting to close up the summer cottage for the season (or should I say Love Shack hehe). All of us are especially enjoying this perfect Loch Garten nest this year, as we well know how things can and have gone sour so easily. Here is the obligatory nest shot for this morning for later comparisons.
Forgot to add that after returning from days away, it is harder for me to tell the difference between R & W now.

10.05 Rowan has arrived
Or is it Willow, LOL. No sound again, but he has been calling.
10.16 Rowan is still standing on the left side of the nest, looking around.

Rowan remains on the nest, continually looking around him, quite alert. And as I type, he flies off. 10.28. ENS
Hello SHEILA, I'm back - terribly hot 'n bothered but can't sleep.
I was hoping you would be here yesterday complaining about the buffering because I was suffering from it so badly and needed company ;-)
IMAGICAT
Oh, I suddenly have sound... a cheeping bird nearby. Cheep cheep....cheep....cheep!

Apologies to everyone trying to view the link but I cannot make them work when I use my phone :(
If you type Aviemore Ospreys into facebook's searchbar then you should find it no problem. Sorry again.
Hi Scylla. I spent most of the day with my OH, sorry not to be able to share your angst!
No problem 25mac, I had found the post via their FB page. The interesting thing is that there has been no sign of EJ today, with or without a fish. Is she beginning to build up her own reserves ready for August's migration?
For those without FB:
Getting a little slow with the reports, but this morning we had 14 dives including a monster dive at the end from Red 8T, added a lot more fish yesterday and it seems even EJ likes the look of them and has been fishing, hopefully the Ospreys keep coming as we are getting on average 10 to 14 dives a morning, lots of brilliant images to come and i mean brilliant, as well as some on here i need to share and will get that done later today. So all going really well and again the new hide is proving to be working well with lots of new head on shots, we did have an Osprey dive and do a complete circle while in the water, Eileen managed to get images of it including looking in the hide, synchronised swimming from an Osprey, another brilliant morning and 8 Ospreys over the hide at one time.
Loud juvie calling near by. ENS
10.53 more calling from a nearby juvie. 10.54 sounds a bit cross!
Still ENS

Thank you 25MAC - I was just having a cool-down session and thinking "I'm going straight to Aviemore Ospreys and I'll ask them if they've seen our LG ospreys"... ;-D Thank you for saving me the trip to read it, SHEILA :-)
Can't wait to see the photos :o
Goodness me, that yelling is loud! Still ENS..
10.10 someone landed and left in the blink of an eye
