ENS tonight again. Yesterday evening brought the Carnyx site to life, and the cam soon after. The last fish to be delivered had no juvie takers. However, yesterday also brought a report of a juvenile trying to catch fish in Loch Garten - Willow or Rowan.
And before the cam returned, we got a report from Chris at the VC catching us up that EJ had brought an enormous rainbow trout that morning. He then posted again to let us know about intruders that EJ had to take care of.

IMAGICAT
Prolonged thunderstorm:
First flash top-right corner:
BIG flash :o
Lesser flash:
Countryside lit up @ 0326:
Black as night:
From 0400hr it got light very quickly:
Massive flash:
Here's the final flash and roll (I thought my sound recording wasn't working but you can just hear the thunder):
Shortly after that a long buffer prevented me from loading VLC, and the Carnyx screen went down:
Sticking my neck out, I don't think we'll be seeing anything of the nest for quite some time :'(
Good morning Scylla. I guess you are right. Hopefully this may only require a reset at the VC if the power went off during the storm.
Birdies LG DU update.
Good morning, MIKE. I'm just doing a little vid of Ceri thru the night - lord knows what I'll do with it, as I'm not allowed to publish it :'(
Good Morning SCYLLA and MIKE
How disappointing that te cam has gone again
Hi Patily. LoL down as well.
Good morning PATILY :-)
Coffee time.
That was a very noisy night up here as you saw and heard. Also several bouts of torrential rain. Quiet now but still very warm and sultry.
Good morning Scylla, Patily, Mike and all.
Technology... ;-)
Tiger's Osprey News
We have been speaking to Peter at Carnyx this morning to try and re-connect the webcam. As you are aware, we had a massive thunderstorm last night which appears to have knocked everything out. We will try and get it working as soon as we can, but we are currently in the throws of another violent storm.
