How different yesterday has ended than the day before when the boys nestled together on the nest! One reason being that the cam inexplicably zoomed in around Night Cam time and never returned to normal. So we are not exactly sure who is on the nest tonight, though we can guess it is Willow. And we assume no one else is standing on the other side! Yesterday brought many flights on and off the nest for both siblings. Willow managed to fly off the nest with his fish, another milestone in a young osprey's development. Some speculated again about when EJ would venture fishing to support the increased volume needed of fish, now that both youngsters are airborne. And yet again Granny Smith supplied superb photos and a report of her visit to the VC.
One thing is certain, though the nest was empty a few times today, true ENS has not yet set in for us. Hopefully the cam pic will be normalized, and with good focus. :-?

Good morning, PATILY! So glad to see you back to normal :-*
IMAGICAT
Had to take a bathroom break and returned to find the boys settled side-by-side on the nest. Lovely :-*
EJ had broken off from feeding the scrap to both boys:
Baleful look for intruder:
Plus another snap to make the most of the glimpses of EJ's face:
She flew and revealed the two boys recovered from being flat, I expect:
Hi Patily. Good to see you with us.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks SCYLLA Boys having a nestle
Scylla you are doing a grand job with these captures.
I am using Puffin to view Carnyx and its buffering so much, and is too fuzzy it's not worth trying to take any captures. By the time I got them posted they would be so late and not relate to anything happening on the nest lol....
Morning Patily.

The best picture quality for ages??
Mary. I can't 'hold' the stream for more than a minute or so at a time either.
Rowan has left, Willow still in place.
Announcement ;-)
I have had my head down trying to "keep up" and failing, so have edited in snaps to comments, all the while unaware of anything posted by anyone else. So please forgive for crushed toes, if any :-*
I think it's Willow lying on the nest now.... See what I mean Scylla, fuzzy and rubbish, I will leave it to the experts lol aka (yourself, Moffer, CC,Sheila, BNN, Clare) etc etc .... :-)
Just after this Willow closed one eye so I think he was winking at me LOL....
