We follow a good day in every way except weather - the rain made dear Willow too heavy to fledge :-(
A doodle I did yesterday - it supports the opening statement:
Willow is having a peaceful night so far. (I'm sticking with the official line that Willow is male, even tho some of us think he's a she.)
Up for a brief preen, stretch, scratch that itch:
A post-poop (not photogenic) stretch and flap, back down to sleep straight away:

EJ still feeding Willow? I think.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
EJ is feeding Rowan now.
Not sure if I will go to LG today or not :-)
Going now, Good Morning Mike when you get here LOL.... Have a good day webcam watching everyone.
Good morning all. Thank you Scylla for starting the day and for the lovely overnight/early captures. Lovely photos too Limpy. Good to see they've been fed. Morning Mary.
Willow is doing a lot of flapping, gliding across the nest and standing on the rim. Rowan is calling to him.
EDIT. That took 10 minutes to appear! :(
DOUBLE EDIT. Helicoptering.

Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Morning all. Willow trying desperately to fly
Moffer I have just been watching Willow flapping and tottering on the edge of the nest too, he looks ready to go.
Getting the dreaded an error occurred again, then the burling wheel and not posting, the usual dreaded Sunday morning gremlins. Will try again.
I think Willow could go today :-)
Good morning all.. I did post earlier to say Hi to Mary and everyone so I have no idea where that has gone unless like you Moffer it suddenly appears!
It is Sunday morning after all!!
Birdies LG DU update.
Like your post above Mary!! which wasn't there when I posted yet there is a two minute time gap! ...... and the pictures weren't in it then either!
Yes this is very frustrating Mike, so think I will definitely go for now :-)

Disembodied head !!!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
