just been watching the nest and T6 looks a lot more alert. Mum and other juve are on the nest as well.

Mum appears to have flown off. one juve eating tail end of fish. T6 at back but seems more alert.
Wonderful that some of you could meet up at Rutland and attend one or more of the 20th anniversary events.
Sheila, I was only speculating. Salmonella is one of a huge number of things which could be afflicting T6 and it is not always fatal, so fingers crossed she recovers, whatever it is that ails her.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
T6 has just flown the nest, a few minutes ago. Fingers crossed she's going to be OK
