Some rain and some sun. Four fish, and all's well for our well-fed family. Odin was spotted fishing at Aviemore yesterday, competing with a squadron of other osprey before the rain. Amazing how EJ ignores the pecks from her offspring with aplomb, to return to sheltering them from weather and overnight. Here she is dozing and keeping watch.

Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Rowan's had enough. Willow has some more
Good morning everyone! I've been here for ages but got digressed and embroiled ;-)
Thank you for the day's start and nighttime coverage, CC, and for early-morning snaps and commentary, MARY - you got the best available shot of Odin's 0510hr fish.
One thing I got digressed by was doing a crop 'n frame, beguiled by the feathers - somehow it feels like giving them a hug ;-)

Hi Clare, Scylla and all :)
And they swapped again. Willow took a few more bites
Both boys had enough and EJ eats.
EJ finished the fish, pottered and left.
It's very gusty again today.
EJ's back defending the nest, followed by Odin
Both adults flown together.
Good Morning all. Great captures of EJ and Odin, Moffer.
