Yesterday it was an awful day for our osprey family. They've had rain pouring down on them almost all day. EJ and the GEMs have been waiting patiently for a fish the whole day. The fish finally arrived at 20.27 and it was a whole whale. Hurrah Magnificent Odin! (ehm,,, Odin had dropped a precious fish in the morning -- picture from FB Operation Osprey).
At the moment it's not raining and EJ's feathers seem to be dry
However, more rain is expected for today. :-(

Thanks for starting us out, noc. Been difficult to watch the family struggle, but they seem to take it in stride more naturally than us!
Here's the DU SUMMARY of June 16th for BNN.

Hi CC! Yes, it was not easy to see them so wet and without fish.
EJ is now snoozing and dreaming of sunny beaches and fish leaping out of water.
Good night everyone.
Good night noc! I would also like that dream!
Kids are restless and EJ looks drenched.
Good morning! Thank you for starting us off, NOC, and sorry I missed you yet, yet, yet again, CC :-*
EJ is more drenched:
I'll do a catchup now.
IMAGICAT
CATCHUP
One of the Gems got EJ up, the latter didn't have a flyaround, just a stretch.
Something alerted EJ and she stayed alert for ages - I couldn't hear the culprit at the time she raised her head, and afterwards it's confused because of the usual gem-whimpering noises.
Up for a tiny poop:
EJ did a mini-dodge, she can't trust Golly not to peck ;-)
Currently, the neat package:
Coffee time.

Soggy, soggy day :-(
And no birds sing :-(
