Hi Wendy, though you have probably gone by now. Thanks for the woodpecker diagnosis. It certainly sounded like a weird metallic rattle. :-/ I've added your diagnosis to the Summary! :)

Right now the cuckoo has started up for the day.

Poor EJ is trying to accommodate two large osplets. Golly looked like she was going to beat up on Dave for taking too much space! (I MISSED that fighting stance!)

Hi Scylla :-* Thank goodness you are here! You may have seen the moment when Golly was ready to beat up on Dave for taking up space under EJ! She is certainly TRYING to get some sleep.

Okay - well I am pretty sure it was right around 4:03 - 4:07. Not important, but Golly gave Dave a glare that made him veer back on his heels! Then she let him alone, whew. Maybe the wing stretches were what caused all the squawks I heard earlier!
