WENDY   We don't have much to go in our food waste. It mainly consists of things like grapefruit skins which Benson isn't partial to!!!!!

Gosh, lots of chat.....and I'm busy watching cute Avocets and baby Owlets on Springwatch!!

We eat our courgettes either cut up and stir fried, or raw and spiralised in a salad!  Yum!  They do go off though, rather similarly to cucumbers, by going soggy.

Very sad. There are often badgers by the sides of the road here, killed by cars.  It upsets me every time. Not as many foxes as we used to see, which I'm not sure is a good thing or a bad thing :-(

Dibnlib: I sometimes buy little Gem lettuce, as our local supermarket sells just the hearts quite often :-)

LINDY   We see a few road kill badgers when we drive between here and Nairn. Oh says it goes to prove there are a good no of Badgers around.

Dibnlib, We also think that the badger numbers have increased this year. We have seen the odd road kill this year, but have noticed that they have been visible earlier in the evening.

Annette, Sorry about the bear. Never nice to see road kill, but when you look at the size of the animal, there has to be damage to the driver's car.

On the island if camera crew were long winded he was the one to say birds first filming second..
