HAPPY NEW WEEK!!!
Last week's Chat thread is here.
Seems like a lot of folks on this thread have been facing adversity of one kind or another. Sending you all best wishes and good energy.
Have a wonderful week everyone!
Gosh, LINDY, I found myself very tearful...
I'm crying, here, because they have a huge model of the Yacht Britannia, which I know the Royal Family loved.... great bagpipes!! :-)
Glad I'm not the only one feeling emotional :-)
It doesn't take much, when The Queen is involved, Heather! I'm a fervant admirer!
So glad the rain has held off!!
Loving this parade!!!
Hopefully the patrons party will be on i player. We got back from church, quick bite to eat then out again and so missed the first 2 hours. We went to MUnroes nursery (on the Black Isle) and bought a new weathered wooden container and plants to go in it. OH is now painting the container a lovely sage colour to match bird table and another container. My job is to encourage Benson out for his pm walk.
ALAN lovely pic of your poppies.
LINDY I wonder what HM thought about the model of Britannia. We all know how sad she was when it was decommissioned. We took the tour of Britannia (now moored in Leith) and it was well worth seeing. Not luxurious in the least but very homely.
I even wondered if it was a good idea, Dibnlib, as that was why I shed a tear when it appeared, she loved that yacht :-(
How nice for you to see inside it :-)
Now they've got The Gruffalo!!!
Well that was just great! Hope Her Majesty enjoyed it, too! :-)
Lots of posts - will have to read back and do replies later.
GOOD NEWS: Raven in garden yesterday!
BAD NEWS: House Martin nest destroyed, together with two naked babies, about two days old. (Did Raven do it?)
MORE GOOD NEWS: positive sighting of large Hedgehog walking through back garden last night, so my poo ID was correct!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
