The cam was down for 20 minutes up to 0130hr-ish, I was half awake and refreshing it at the time and was considering writing to Carnyx when it came back up.
No significant nest activity until EJ took a bathroom break:
Returning:
And a stretch @ 0403hr:
Culminating in another flyaround:

Very hot day up here, I think the Osplets are flat out under Mum's sunshade!
Fish 6.10pm also alarm calls and Odin flew off at once.
The little, well not so little, ones are being fed. Looks a lovely evening at LG, Same up here in Caithness.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
GOSH. I have been away this weekend and have returned to very interesting reports! The most interesting and mystifying to me are the two incidents of Odin trying to wrest the fish back from EJ. Thanks to all of you faithful watchers even in the midst of cam outages to keep watch and report and record these interesting happenings.
Was Odin still hungry? Did his instinct to deliver fish fight with his instincts to sustain himself? Why didn't he eat more if he was hungry? And what did EJ think??? I wish we could read osprey brains at times like this!

EJ has been calling for fish, echoed by one of the chicks (#2?) and finally flies off the nest.
EJ is back. I do not think she brought anything.
EJ stares at the camera, and flies off again.
She's back, and one of the chicks is talking as she cleans up around the nest. She is looking around somewhat expectantly, and now has flown again.
She's back again.
And off again.
