I know I am a little early, but since I have a break, I will take advantage!
Yesterday brought a seemingly endless supply of fish, and it was noted more than once that #1 has suddenly grown monstrously big during the course of the day. The one remarkable event of aggression was #1 pecking at EJ (sequence by moffer), who had somehow jabbed her several times with the back end of sticks she was attempting to arrange (video by Birdie Num Num).
Speaking of which, we will have to muddle on by ourselves while BNN goes on her holidays! We hope she has a good time but hurry back please. :-*

Thanks for all today's updates and another sunny day with juicy fish. Apologies for not contributing with the here and now action but I can't watch the dreadful spooling I am getting I just can't make out anything helpful so thank you very much to you all x
Well that was wierd. We went from this
to this in one frame.
We must have had a time catch up.
FISH @ 19.38
I thought that I was seeing things, but it's happened twice now. #2 is taking food from #1
They are moving in unison to grab each bite. #2 really has found his courage today.
The feed is slowing down as they fill up. Just as well. The fish is nearly gone!
Feed over. Just the tailfin+ left. EJ tidies up and settles.
Feed over and lots of clucking and chucking by the kids as they figure out how to settle under Mom.
