Lmac. I think many of us share your view. The stance she took up on arrival etc is so reminiscent of Lady that comparison is inevitable.
If she hauls off and smacks him one with her wing, that will seal the deal for me. I think I remember Lady did that with one of her former "clueless" suitors! He returned with fish.

I can't say all calm as I've had to turn the sound off. Lassie is screaming for food so I guess any locals won't be late up this morning!
The shouting must have paid off as I now see that Lassie has fish and is feeding the chicks.
It doesn't look very much so I wonder if it just a left over piece and she wants more?
