For those who didn't have time to go thru yesterday's DU pages (even tho there weren't as many due to it being Moffer's birthday and she was missed), here is a lovely snap of EJ with #1 (those wings! and where was #2?!) which Moffer posted from RSPB Operation Osprey's Facebook page:
At least 3 fish and some intrusions yesterday, each dealt with appropriately.
This was EJ returning from the briefest of flyarounds @ 0022hr:
Not a lot of sleep, but some, so far.

Good morning, PATILY :-)
Is anyone else having trouble with the 'back' arrow? When I post I can't use the 'back' arrow to return to the Forum page I have to scroll back to the top of the page and then click on Forum!!!???
UPDATE: Problem solved by logging out and back again!
Birdies LG DU update.
Good morning all. Thankyou for the wonderful photos and updates. Just love the early morning pics! Ive not been here for a while and noticed how much the chicks have grown! They are reaching the "ugly" stage where they go quite dark, but not for long till they become more like beautiful ospreys :) The change is dramatic in such a short time :)
Good morning all. Thank you Scylla for starting the day, and your lonley night reporting.
Odin has brought the fish back
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
It took EJ a moment to twig, but she has the fish now and feeding has started.

That's one problem I'm not having, MIKE, but I could bore you with umpteen others, am at my wits' end.
I think there's either been another FISH or a fish return, can't tell yet - if ever ;-D

I think it's a fish return - this is the first frame of Odin on the nest, no sky view, nothing before this - nearly landed on the osplets!
He was looking quite discombobulated:

Course, MIKE - it is Sunday morning! We could expect trouble reliably on Sunday mornings ;-)

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
EJ is pottering, with her lovely contact calls. #1 is on the "top deck", #2 is in the cup and there is some fish left.
Clare Bailey said:where did you find this?
I Googled for info on cuckoos and that was one of the results, an RSPB Wildlife page.
We're going to have to watch our typing now, CLARE - or I am, anyway ;-D
