Hi everyone,
What a day, still too windy to have them ringed and tagged so we wait to see whether they will do it today
I think a total of 5 fish were delivered over the course of the day. Exercising, eating, sleeping, just what teenagers get up to really. Lots of nice pics posted during the course of the day.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning, night, night.

Don't tell the International Whaling Commission, Linda!
Seriously though, EJ must be in fantastic condition to be able to raise a fish of that size out of the water - you often see film of ospreys really struggle to get airborne with fish much smaller than that one.
just read back and it is the same fish, my goodnes, must have been a whale, right enough SANDY
Now that the youngsters are full, EJ is finishing it off - its a whole hour now since she brought it in!
It looks like there is still a lot of fish left for EJ to finish ... it certainly was a monster fish

It was so big even EJ can't finish it off! Bling or no bling it looks glorious there now:
Don't they look just beautiful in the evening sunlight - like burnished gold and copper.
I've just realised looking at them that EJ is still holding onto an enormous piece of fish, still - that fish must have been of record size...
Just playing catchup again. Thanks for all the updates and pics. Haven't read Annette's comments yet, will do in a minute, but I'm sure the team will let us know as soon as they know when it might take place. We have to be patient a little longer, hard though it is.for all of us. Took this one in the late evening sun, probablly the same as Sandy's but they did look glorious.
It's almost as if we are being compensated for the disappointment of the non-event with the scene at present, with the magnificent EJ looking imperious, proudly overlooking her offspring:
