Happy Independence Day America. (hope I've got my history right)
It was a very gusty day at LG. What with EJ having difficulty landing earlier on that day and trying to keep on the nest when she was there. Lots of wing flapping exercises, one nearly took off but not quite. To top it all it started to rain.
EJ is right on the edge of the nest and has now taken off , probably going to her roost tree. Earlier she brought in a very large trout and just before that Odin had brought in a fish and left it for the youngsters. One did try to feed itself and then when mum came back with hers, abandoned it and went to mum for a feed. In all an entertaining day watching these incredible birds.
Happy viewing and we'll see what today brings. Night, night.

Its nice to see EJ see this wind out with her brood. She could easily be perched in the shelter of a tree. She's spent a lot of time away on previous days but choosing to stay with them today. Bless

Bless his heart Odin delivered a fish in this wind!
It is not a large one but it is a fish. I am sure he worked hard to catch that one
