Hi everyone, not seen much of the action yesterday as I have been on and off the computer. Believe it had its moments though.
All quiet as all three GEM's are sleeping and EJ must be roosting in a tree nearbye.
Not sure what the weather is doing, it sounded like a shower earlier.
Happy viewing, see you all in the morning.

Nice pics and commentary Lindybird ... I've been watching the football! Half-time fish due? maybe not with that wind :-(
EDIT - I did see the flying novice lift off too!!!

Hi folks, just caught up with posts and pics and aren't there some fantastic ones, DJoan S, Lindybird, and those I haven't mentioned.
EJ has just flown off whilst I was catching up as well as the three doing exercises, particularly one doing some very impressive wing exercises too. All three have settled down a bit. Weather looks brighter despite the windy conditions.
Glad someone else saw it - it was scary, as they don't seem frightened of the wind - in fact they seem to enjoy it lifting them up : I suppose that's natural for a creature who's going to spend half their life on the wing.
(I've just come from watching the Tennis Ladies Final, myself)

Thanks as always for the pics and commentary, Linda. Just catching the odd peek in between watching all the sport, but did manage to see that. The wind is perfect for them to practice their hovering skills.
managed to catch one doing its exercises
DjoanS: Have just been printing out a copy of your wonderful pic of them all watching EJ flying - hope you don't mind - it's going on my wall, where I have already run out of space since last years pics ;-)
Well caught, Lynette - the action ones are the hardest to get.
All three are looking round as if something has caught their eyes. Wonder whether they can see EJ in a tree?
Lindybird - of course I don't mind ... as far as I'm concerned anything posted on here is for anyone to use! Off to watch the 2nd half now, since Odin didn't show up with the half-time refreshments :-)
EJ's just flown back in and nearly missed the nest because of the wind, it blew her sideways a little as she was coming in. Now gone up to where all three are sitting. They are now shouting away, as if to say , teatime dad. EJ is looking around her. Off she goes again.
