EJ just left the nest a few moments ago to go and roost. All quite at the nest with two of the youngsters snoozing and one doing some wing stretching.

that was totally EJ's fault. She came back, started chirping, got them up and then buggered off again
We're not impressed with your wing flapping:
I can just faintly hear the sounds of music and voices drifting across to the nest mike from the party goings on at the centre, sounds like they are having a good time.

just caught up again. Two young ones up, toilet , and now looking around at what they can do. One staying firmly sitting down. Now both the ones that got up are settling down again.
Can't hear anything through the mike, so party must be over, or is it, thought they went on a bit up there Mind you it will be early rise for them so maybe not!!!!! Just teasing.

That'll be the same EJ who nurtured them into the lovely big chums they are now and still wants to try and cover them when it rains.
Everything EJ does is for a reason, like dropping sticks on them to wake them from their slumber, and chirping at them to wake them from their slumber at nightime. She knows its a tough world out there for them.
Im sure you weren't actually being negative towards the worlds greatest female osprey and were just being light-hearted, but I thought I should stick up for her just incase you were :-)
