EJ just left the nest a few moments ago to go and roost. All quite at the nest with two of the youngsters snoozing and one doing some wing stretching.
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
EJ just came back and planted her feet defiantly right where #2 did not want her to stand.
I think EJ is telling that sassy chick, " Look this is MY nest , I will stand where I please!". LOL
#2 is glaring at her but not poking her. If #2 thinks EJ will take a submissive pose it is sadly mistaken

Odin must be in the area. EJ is " half- heartedly calling him. Not the usual , " Get that fish over here we are hungry " call LOL
That's quite an impressive heap of mini ospreys!

EJ is calling for more fish. I'm surprised as the youngsters must be full to bursting point.
I haven't had much chance to look in here today, so thank you so much for all your reports/ pictures / fish counts. It was lovely to be able to catch up as I don't seem to be able to connect to the camera right now.
EDIT, now got the camera picture with three chicks fast asleep.
All 3 fast asleep, as Brenda says - not surprising as they've eaten rather well this evening.
I'm off to get something on the alcoholic side to drink, and then bed, I'm whacked. Goodnight All.
#1 doing some late evening wing exercises. That one is very anxious to fly!
Goodnight Linda. Ghana were beaten in the end. Too bad. Would love to have seen an African side progress to the semis. Raining on the nest now at LG - sounds heavy but didn't stop wingercising a moment ago by one of the musketeers. All settled down again now. No sign of the parents.
Night cam on. EJ just returned to the nest.
EJ back and calling loudly
