Hi folks, can't say I've seen much action yesterday as I was in and out all day. Not sure how many fish were delivered but I believe fish were left on the nest for the youngsters to try and feed themselves. A valuable lesson to be learned, but whether it succeeded or not, not sure.
At present our teenagers are fairly inactive. EJ is probably roosting nearbye as the nest is getting overcrowded with their huge sizes
Happy viewing to all our overseas watchers, and to the homies, see you in the morning.

Evening all: Thanks Lynette. It's the overseas crowd reporting! Lovely sunny evening here; chicks on the nest; two snoozing, one flapping about.. Looks and sounds very breezy at LG
Hi everyone.
Thanks for starting the Daily Update, Lynette. Thanks to everyone for all the brilliant updates pics etc. on yestarday's daily update. Great to watch how well Odin, EJ and the three "little" giants are doing. I saw the incident with the youngsters and the fish earlier and thought I was going to start shouting encouragement at the laptop. My lauguage in support of EJ and her brood whenever an intruder is near by, tends to be quite rough. Don't worry though, I won't give any examples. The asterix may go out of fashion if I did.
The chicks (sorry I'll always remember them as tiny wee humbugs) are snoozing now, although I'm typing this as fast as my daft fingers will allow. Just in case I have to go back and change the "are" to "were". ;-)
Paul

I hear the clink clonk of raindrops on the camera.
"Ah telt you tae bring a blanket!"
Thanks Paul. lovely summary and sentiments:)
Just checked in and all quiet on the nest. I'm off to bed so catch up tomorrow
LG light levels increasing. A couple of the chicks stirring, and now all three back to dreams about flight and fish. Still raining lightly, with a fair bit of wind from time to time.
Hi Gary :-)
See you tommorow.
Paul.
One of the youngsters up now and doing a bit of wingerciseing. Now another one starts.
Three large GEMs asleep, serenaded by a crow/raven and raindrops.
The LG dawn chorus getting into full swing.
Lights on now.
