Hello,I am going back up to Boat of Garten for 2 weeks starting 22nd August.
Will the Osprey Centre still be open then ? as the chicks will have fledged ?
I come up to photograph the Red Squirrels and Roe Deer anyway

The ospreys will stick around for several weeks after the chicks fledge, but may be heading off by about 22nd Aug.
In 2009 the Centre stayed open till the end of the first week in Sept. I haven't seen anything in the blog about this year's closure date, you could ask them in the blog comments/email/phone.
Borderslass - some dates re Juveniles leaving:
2009: Rothes: 9th August; Garten: 26th August; Mallachie: 29th August
2008: Nethy: 17th August; Deshar: 19th August
Interestingly, it seems that the heavier they are, then the later they leave (this is only my observation on two year's figures!) so if the 2010 three are as heavy as they look, you could be lucky!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
I think the Centre closes officially to visitors at the end of August - but I could be wrong. You could look it up on the Web.
