Hi everyone, last day of June already. I have just been looking at my pics of when they were first born backend of May, from three tinies to three huge young ospreys, the rate of growth in a month seems phenomenal.
Anyhow on to yesterday, A more or less routine day with the three getting up to their usual antics and EJ keeping a motherly eye on them most of the time. She did leave the nest on occasions for longer periods, one to go fishing and bring back a whopper, round about teatime this was.
All three are resting with fidgiting and wing stretching inbetween. EJ must be on her roost tree nearbye as she isn't on the nest.
I am signing off now, see you in the morning. Happy viewing.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
fish, and an intruder..
odin making a load of noise as well
I timed that very well ... just back from shopping trip to see Odin arrive with a fish ... and an intruder! He has stayed to warn off the intruder. EJ mantling and screeching ... Odin chirruping ... young ones almost playing dead :-)

EJ walking backwards to allow Odin to come in to land----
then Odin arriving and shouting, as EJ mantles and screeches...
11.43 fish 3 plus intruder lots of shouting before Odin flew off. Well done Odin that is what I wanted to see before I logged off.
