Hi everyone, last day of June already. I have just been looking at my pics of when they were first born backend of May, from three tinies to three huge young ospreys, the rate of growth in a month seems phenomenal.
Anyhow on to yesterday, A more or less routine day with the three getting up to their usual antics and EJ keeping a motherly eye on them most of the time. She did leave the nest on occasions for longer periods, one to go fishing and bring back a whopper, round about teatime this was.
All three are resting with fidgiting and wing stretching inbetween. EJ must be on her roost tree nearbye as she isn't on the nest.
I am signing off now, see you in the morning. Happy viewing.

LATEST IN COMPETITION TO 'SPOT THE 3rd CHICK' ....
EJ just returned to start on the housework:
EJ back at the nest and our three are fairly flat in the nest having a look at what is going on. One just stretched its wing over its sibling, my how big they are. Ones has decided its time for another fish.
Middle one as you look is now shouting a little and the other one has joined in too.Lt.hd. side is keeping quiet. Middle one just got up, stretched and bonked mum and has now got all of them up, in anticipatiorn of dad arriving.
All up now and stretching and preening while mum stays right at the edge.
Lindybird thanks for the pics, very hard to spot the third one as it blends in with the nest so well. Bit of grumbing going on from one of them.
Margobird
Been away for 1/2 hr, washing my hair....
EJ still on the side of the nest, as the young 'uns rattle about, waiting for Dad...
EJ and her young look absolutely gorgeous in the sun, the colours showing up well. Still waiting for another fish but until then we will continue to make ourselves even more beautiful for when Dad delivers.
Arn't they looking lovely today in the sun, margobird? EJ is doing her 'Majestic' impression this morning, just love it.
Here's another pic:
Notice they are getting more agile - "Look, I can stand on one leg and scratch my head at the same time...!"
