Hi to all our viewers from overseas and those late ones here.
It has been a fairly quiet day, intruder alerts in the morning/afternoon, a bit of a barney between two youngsters but sorted out. EJ took no notice. Only 4 fish from Odin but EJ brought in a whopper late evening and they were at it for at least half an hour I think.
At present all three are sleeping and EJ is on her perch at the side of the nest nearest the camera.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

It has been a wonderful year so far Lindybird. Three beautiful chicks at LG and of course two at LOtL with Lady still there with them.
Margobird
Sandra I missed Lady with a branch complete with moss. she obviously thinks that a bit more needs to be added to the barricade after watching the chicks wing flapping and exploring.
Very loud jet just flew over. Either that or Odin is brilliant at impressions as well as fishing.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
V. Funny, Heron!
I never cease to be amazed at the camouflage that ospreys have - I logged on just now with no sign of EJ or Odin, and the juveniles were all 'laid low' - for a split second I thought the nest was empty! Hoping to get up to Loch Garten at some point next week during a camping trip, so I hope the weather holds out!

Haven't you heard Heron77??? The MOD are having to make some drastic cutbacks as a result of the financial situation. The Typhoon Eurofighter was deemed too expensive, so they've enlisted the help of Odin and other ospreys to just fly around, dive-bomb and screech at any prospective ne'er-do-wells!!
Hi BigRab: Nice to see you on here. I often have a panic, when I can only count one youngster on the nest, to find that there are still three after all.
Great idea of the MOD !

I prefer your choice of names too
Very quiet, still. Not much stirring, just the odd wing stretch and shudder from sleeping Giants.
Trawling through the posts I can't find your suggested ones Margobird. I like Alan's suggestions. Maybe putting the two lists together and posting it to the main blog might give some thought provoking ideas for the team to consider. How about it folks.
The scene at the moment is bliss, all three are resting, one gazing out at the world and wing stretching over its sibling. Mum has either gone fishing or is close by in a tree.
