Hi everyone,
Its been an uneventful day except that EJ went fishing for the first time since the chicks came along and brought back a whopper of a fish. I believe there was a total of 8 brought to the nest but will be corrected if I am wrong.
Two of our young ospreys were preening but now only one who has got up and is still at it. The other two are asleep.
Nearly the end of June already and look how they've grown!!
Enjoy the night viewing wherever you are. Night, night.

Evening all and thanks again Lynette for starting thread and summary! :-) Managed to skim through yesterday's posts. Will be keeping an eye out for EJ with her fishing rod. Off to organize dinner.
Every day watching the nest seems to provide a memory of that day .
My memory of yesterday was the look on EJ's face when she sat with her catch under her foot and was peeping at the chicks to come and see what she had for them. :)
At first they were a bit surprised since all they have known, until now, is that Odin brings the fish . Now they know EJ brings fish too .
Also seeing Titch try to peck at the fish under EJ's foot as she was feeding them

what a lovely memory of the day Barbara Jean:)
3am and the chicks look asleep but are preening at the same time.
Dinner finished; dishes doing; daylight cam at LG.
LOTL chicks have already finished breakfast! Meanwhile, a quick glance at LG shows - well, I was going to say that chicks are looking more and more like their parents, but then I spied EJ zooming in from afar and assume that Odin must be on his way. All chicks are up; EJ is calling - and wait for it - it's Odin with a live one!!
All very interested this morning and gathering round for the usual friendly breakfast.
Well, one's lost interest; other two are still scarfing it up.
I missed the delivery. # 1 & 3 are eating while #1 waits . It is a good size fish to there should be plenty
Glorious morning at LG. Two chicks now preening and stretching; not sure which one is still eating. Still quite a fair bit of that fish left!
Finally, - oh not quite finally - third chick (not sure which) has finished eating and waddled off for a siesta. Good grief, now the other two are looking for seconds! Where do they put it!!??
