Hi everyone,
Its been an uneventful day except that EJ went fishing for the first time since the chicks came along and brought back a whopper of a fish. I believe there was a total of 8 brought to the nest but will be corrected if I am wrong.
Two of our young ospreys were preening but now only one who has got up and is still at it. The other two are asleep.
Nearly the end of June already and look how they've grown!!
Enjoy the night viewing wherever you are. Night, night.

I saw Titch go back to the food line while the losing chick lay in a submissive pose. Not completely sure which chick was in the submissive pose , but I think it was #1, because #2 has a lot of white on the side of it's head and it was the chick that was eating throughout the brawl.

The chick that went back to the food line had the shortest tail.

Plus all the chicks are full and EJ is now finishing it . It must have been an" EJ Whopper "
All three are flat out and EJ is still eating, at least she's getting a decent feed.
EJ now on her favourite perch at the side of the nest nearest the camera. All three youngsters have settled down and are resting.
Things are getting a bit tetchy as the youngsters increasingly fill the nest and get in each others' way. The next week or so will be fascinating to see where the pecking order lies - it's certainly not decided yet!
