Hi everyone,
Its been an uneventful day except that EJ went fishing for the first time since the chicks came along and brought back a whopper of a fish. I believe there was a total of 8 brought to the nest but will be corrected if I am wrong.
Two of our young ospreys were preening but now only one who has got up and is still at it. The other two are asleep.
Nearly the end of June already and look how they've grown!!
Enjoy the night viewing wherever you are. Night, night.

Hi Margobird:))
All quiet at the moment, still a little breezy.
Mmmm, I'm beginning to see what Debbie A meant when she said she thought they were all girls. Now that youngest is grown more the breast feathers are looking more like girl feathers - 'fancier' not so plain, Mmmmm
Off to do my weekly shop now - usually do it Tuesday but my cupboard is literallly bare !! and I need to eat before going in to work this evening. hate to shop on a day I work but, there it is. Be good young Osps and obey your mother. See you all later
Hi, I'm back after my walk. Thanks for pics and reports of latest fish del. and also see we still have an intruder - often wonder if its always the same one.
EJ standing in the gusty wind, and the young 'uns are in an amorphous heap:
Not much happening: I've been rambling on, over on the Weekly Chat page, and EJ has hardly moved at all since my last posting here. Youngsters all stuffed with fish and sleeping like drunks.
EJ preens, and one of the youngsters wakes up and has a little 'chunner' - hungry again!
HI all, just logged on to another scene of serenity. EJ on one foot, chicks lying relaxing looking out toward the centre. They look quite dozy so I assume theres been plenty of fish. Sounds qute windy, Off to catch up on this mornings happenings. Eyes closed now having a wee nap b4 the next fish??
All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy. Spike Milligan
With the three giant Osprey chicks all lying on one side of the nest, I'm surprised it hasn't went lopsided on account of all the fish they eat. LOL
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
I'm back too Lindy - it's so hot out today. Average sort of shop with everything more expensive than last week. thank goodness you young Osps don't require Tesco salmon this year !!!! So, we're on fish 4 then are we?
Very good Odin - so far, but I wouldn't be surprised if EJ did a little fishing of her own. Quite clever of her I thought to accomplish the whole deed including the scoffing of the fish she brought before Odin returned with his fish.
Chicks are muttering. Wind is still blowing. Not any action as such, just the odd wing being thrown around....
Only 3 fish so far, Cirrus, last one at 11.00am.
