Hi everyone,
Its been an uneventful day except that EJ went fishing for the first time since the chicks came along and brought back a whopper of a fish. I believe there was a total of 8 brought to the nest but will be corrected if I am wrong.
Two of our young ospreys were preening but now only one who has got up and is still at it. The other two are asleep.
Nearly the end of June already and look how they've grown!!
Enjoy the night viewing wherever you are. Night, night.

One chick more interested in preening than eating ....headless of course :-)

Morning DjoanS it just proves how well fed these 3 are when 1 of them doesn't even attempt to get any of the last fish. Good pic too
Margobird
That didn't last long and EJ is shouting for more. The three young ospreys are settling down to sleep the feed off.
They have only just finished that fish (only two young ones interested in eating) and EJ is nagging Odin to go fishing again!
Think EJ is calling again for a fish as the last one was not very big. Maybe she will go fishing herself shortly.
Morning margobird ... yes its great to see them so well fed.
I'm going out on a quick shopping trip ... hope I don't miss EJ fishing today ... but if there's an intruder about I'm sure she won't go.

Many thanks Alan: off to watch
Thanks Alan EJ has not stopped shouting since they finished the last fish. Poor Odin is getting a right earful from her.
Morning all. Thanks for all the captures/reports. Thanks for the clip Alan, like Cirrus, off to have a look
EJ really has been calling Odin and he was answering back. It's gone quiet now, so assume he's given up and gone fishing!
