Hi, all quiet on the nest, EJ must be close by in her tree, leaving the young ones the spread of the nest.
I think it was 8 fish in all yesterday.
Night, night, see you all in the morning.

EJ brought in a large fish and right after they finished that one Odin delivered #7 for him. Total of 8 fish today
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
BarbaraJean - for some reason - in PROFILE - not colour and not full faced - middle chick reminds me of Mallachie. What do you think? Maybe that could help identification
I think Eldest will make herself obvious by her actions. We'll just have to observe very hard . Ha ha
Thanks Everyone: I saw EJ bring in Her fish, which has made my day. But then I went out for half an hour and was confused to see them still eating. All well fed today, then.
I'm afraid that as they are Birds of Prey, they are going to be competitive in the same way that wolves for instance, all argue over their food. We have to accept that that is their natural behaviour - survival of the fittest.
Yes its just the way of things, It happens in ALL bird nests every year

The eldest does strut around like King/Queen of the nest LOL
I was wondering if it was just Me, thinking that the eldest always seems to act like an 'Eldest.'
I'm still laughing at Margobird's " Walking backwards to Christmas !!!" - thanks for the laugh, Margobird!
Wow, here he comes a ums ums a ums that's our Odin (there' s a tune in there somewhere)
Odin with another small FISH!
C'mon EJ you're at it now, you can't possibly be needing another fish already. But he delivers just the same. Think he stole that one could hear another Osprey in the background. lol
