Hi, all quiet on the nest, EJ must be close by in her tree, leaving the young ones the spread of the nest.
I think it was 8 fish in all yesterday.
Night, night, see you all in the morning.

3 snoozing monsters on nest, 1 insect on lens. Radio Chaffinch
EJ flown in calling anxiously. Monsters rise and stretch. She continues to screech.
EJ arrives calling; waking up chicks. Odin must be incoming - amazing how she knows - and she should start walking backwards any minute......she's leaning low and seems to be chiding the chicks; they're obviously getting the message to be up and here he comes with good-size fish and EJ's on it!! And off he goes. First fish of the day!!
Odin flies in with a FISH, knocking into a monster. One tries to peck at fish. EJ takes over. Two are feeding, third is more interested in practising flapping. Those "chicks" are as big as Mum!!!!!!
EJ our little Air Traffic Controller is calling Odin in
Super Odin has landed RIGHT ON A CHICK with a fish
With a flurry of wings EJ managed to get the fish out from under the startled chick LOL
With all the commotion Odin decided this was not a good time to stay for a visit so he left , pronto
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
EJ back on the nest and shouting. Then Odin arrives with the first fish of the day. :-)
And as usual there's the one who chooses to flap and appears not to be interested.... Other two are busy munching. Oh, the flapper is now looking fish-ways, but not in any rush for breakfast - now preening; more flapping
Good catch Heron!
All chicks now eating.
