Hi everyone and good morning to our overseas visitors.
EJ is off the nest at present leaving the chicks sleeping. Could very well be on her perch at the side of the nest. Quite a few moths flying around.
I believe there were 6 fish delivered yesterday, the last one about 6pm. 4 very early and 2 within the space of an hour round about 5pm. Not been a delivery since so he could be curtailing his fishing trips.
Have a nice day everyone, see you in the morning.

All asleep in feathery heaps... the occasional wing goes out sideways, and the bees are buzzing around....
I bet EJ is really enjoying some "me" time wherever she has gone.
I am fine now but in the middle of the night I had to get up and usually manage to negotiate my way OK in the dark but must have been half asleep as I hit my head on the corner of a wall right where I had the surgery done. Have a bit of a black eye now and OH says I am always covered in bruises and people must think he is a wife batterer but I can assure you he is not. A more gentle man you could not wish to meet.
Margobird
Lots of wing exercising but I wish they would not do it so near the edge, funny to watch. Bet they are thinking wish I could stand upright and to this instead of falling over.
Goodness, I've been in the garden having an "icecream on a stick" and they are still all alone...
margobird: You really must look after yourself, all these black eyes and bruises will make people think you've taken up all in wrestling....
I just logged in. All looks peaceful on the nest with the heap of sleeping chicks. EJ is not there.
Last year some one from the center said EJ sits in a tree near the nest when the nest gets too crowded.
After Titch's temper tantrum earlier when she accidently stepped on it, she may have decided the time has come to start roosting in the tree

I am imagining that she is in nearby tree, Barbara Jean.
Sounds like Odin's on his way! Here he is ... all up and ready :-)
