Just logged in again and pleased to read that Odin has delivered 2 fish.  Well done him.  Can see from comments that feeding time was very civil after the long wait.  EJ and Odin have raised a very harmonious set of children this year.

when ever she's in the nest she keeps on getting smacked around the head

LOL  Two of the the chicks are  resting , but the  chick in the middle has been chirping "no-stop" . The  chick on the left  just  stretch a wing  right over the  head of  the  chirping chick. I think to silence it !!  LOL

Barbara I wasn't disagreeing with you. But if you think about the number of single chicks each year does it not make you think maybe its an inherited trait and one learned from their parents.rather than from beating each other to a pulp.  The chicks have had plenty of seeing and learning on how to protect a nest, fish and space from EJ this year. Theres been lots of intruders.

Looks glorious at LG and made even more wonderful witht the sight of 3 very stuffed youngsters and a vey beautiful EJ.  I just love those eyes.
