Hi everyone, happy viewing through the early hours.
Barbara Jean posted a pic on yesterdays diary (at the end) of the chicks in May, compare them to now, they are young ospreys not those fluffy little bundles anymore.
EJ and her brood are sleeping, all is at peace.
See you all in the morning, night, night.

EJ is on her perch at the side of the nest looking for Odin. The three younsters have settled down again.
EJ just been for a quick comfort break.
I think Odin must feel that as he brought 4 fish in early there's no need for one just yet.
Good afternoon everyone - can't believe I've missed the morning at LG. Superlative pics Heron ! and Lindy and DJoan, what can a girl say - just outstanding. Thanks for all the posts too, great reading. I am wondering if youngest might not be a boy cos the breast feathers are not as ''fancy'' and maybe are slightly lighter in colour than the other two. What d'you think?
Well, after another good look I'm even more convinced - Yongest is male - we'll see. So, my previous prediction is now amended - two girls and a boy
Hi, just come back from my outing, and find EJ mooching around the nest, looking for cushions of moss to rearrange, and the youngsters lolling around.
I just love the colours of EJ's feathers, the way the light is hitting them just now is beautiful!

Hi Cirrus - I agree, have been thinking that his fancy waistcoat is a bit different from the other two, so I will stick with what I said on another thread, - two girls, and Titch is a boy...
"Mum, can I stay and lookout for Dad up here with you please?....."
She is a beautiful example of an osprey, DjoanS. I just love those feathers, too!
Queen of the Nest - & looking at someone who longs to fly like Daddy....
They are still waiting for dad to come but I notice there is a half eaten fish on the nest??
Will look in later, have to go out.
