Hi folks, Midsummers day, and the weather looks fair set till the weekend.
Not sure how many fish came in yesterday as was out in the evening.
Its a lovely domestic scene with the youngsters up and about and EJ watching over them in her usual stance. Quite quiet.
See you in the morning, happy viewing and thanks in advance to our night watchers who keep us up to date with their humourous posts and occasional pics.

Just catching up with posts, see there has been no delivery since this afternoon, am I right??
EJ looks majestic in the evening sun, doing her "keep watch" routine while the youngsters sleep. Does this mean they will be active during the night and not let mum get her rest - who knows?
I;m still wondering if all the intruders around are making EJ wary about leaving the nest for periods of time. Whilst she has been off the nest no-one at the centre thought she'd been fishing for herself yet ,She needs to get back in to prime conditon. When you think about it, it sadly really isn't too many weeks ahead until she leaves LG. so it can't be much longer before she's off the nest for longer periods flying and fishing for herself and building herself up in preparation for migration.
On saying that it was the last week of August when she left last year, which was later than previous years.
Wonder if any of the offspring will go before her again.

The young ones are beginning to chunner away and EJ is looking towards the direction Odin might come. I think a late supper .is in order
Hi everyone. Thanks for all the pics and updates. Great stuff as always. Amazed at the amount of fish Odin has been providing for EJ and the brood, and when we think that the count doesn't include fish Odin catches for himself, and fish delivered before first hatching. He really is a super Osprey. :-)
Here's a pic of EJ and 3 snoozing giants.
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Its a lot of fish, when you count them all together - Odin has done a superlative job and has three massive offspring to show for it. Maybe there won't be any more fish today, as he has decided to supply less now that they have grown so fast. Another memorable day for all of us having the honour of watching this special family.
Goodnight, All.
Coulld it be that Odin has decided to cut down fish deliveries?
Dreaming of fish:
EJ still looking out towards the direction Odin usually comes in - still no delivery.
The wind seems to have died down.
Better late than never - FISH DELIVERY - tucking in like not been fed before.
Fish no 6 and supper for the juveniles.
