Hi everybody, Its been a great day at LG, weather has been kind, particularly after the wind dropped. Not sure how many fish were delivered.
News from LOTL is that Lady is making steady progress so one hopes she will see out the season.
At present the youngsters are home alone, EJ is probably on a perch keeping an eye on the nest from that or she has gone for a flyaround.
Off to bed, see you in the morning.

That didn't work ... I didn't think we called them chicks anymore

They all look like Odin. EJ has a rounder head
EJ is calling Odin to go fishing again while the 3 chicks are flat out on the nest. They certainly don't look hungry. I wonder when they will seriously start exercising their wings?
The wind is so strong it is nearly blowing EJ over. A couple of times it blew her wings down and she has powerful wings

Looks like a wee breeze up at LG and EJ looks like she could do with a sleep. If the wind continues maybe she'll spend more time on the nest with them for extra warmth but am thinking she'd do better perched on a branch for some peaceful rather than fitful sleep. Alas, thats the joy of parenthood !!

It's been a bit breezy up at LG today, Soosin. Saw EJ leaning into it a couple of times, and she's one big bird. Thought it may have made the fishing more difficult for Odin, but a respectable 5 fish so far.
EJ standing guard over a nest covered in a speckled carpet - oh, it's the monsters.
some serious wing flapping going on
Not been home all that long from work really - heavy nite. Great to come home to such great posts and pics - these (above) are lovely Sandy - the light is perfect .
I've always called the youngest - Youngest and the first hatched Eldest - yes, they are juveniles now all right. Apart from being 'Tawny' they are like Odin, I agree. The colour is EJ but the 'looks' are Odin.
