Hi everybody, Its been a great day at LG, weather has been kind, particularly after the wind dropped. Not sure how many fish were delivered.
News from LOTL is that Lady is making steady progress so one hopes she will see out the season.
At present the youngsters are home alone, EJ is probably on a perch keeping an eye on the nest from that or she has gone for a flyaround.
Off to bed, see you in the morning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
EJ must have been out for some new furniture ... and now she just can't find the right place for it!

sounds like an incoming fish
.... and she's still shifting it around ... I don't thinkt that leaving it lying on the young ones is the right place :-))
Odin with a fish I think .... here he is ... hope the youngsters can get out from under the furniture!
yep, fish arrived.. difficult for the chick though since EJ has planted a tree in the middle of the nest
11.05 and Odin arrives with a large fish. Usual procedure for EJ, walking backwards getting excited and chicks all standing up. Odin has just left. While I was watching for the fish to arrive one of the youngster managed to pull a stick over him which EJ promptly moved. All lined up and eating. now.
Margobird
Hi margobird - the stick is still in the middle of the nest .... she didn't get time to move it before Odin arrived!
Silly me DjoanS food comes first even if there is a stick over the youngsters back. At least it is in the nest and no doubt EJ will move it when she does her usual tidy up after a meal. Those fat youngsters can't even be bother to stand up for their feed.

Seems it was a fair sized fish ... someone is still eating ... and I heard Odin chirping in the background ... presumably there is an intruder about.
